The 26,000 Ft2 addition to the Thompson and Lockwood Library consisted of a new media center, all library public services, instruction space, group study rooms, networked computer workstations, audio-visual resource center, administrative and technical service operations.
The special collections archive required environmental control systems and moisture protection.
The Van Ingen Art Library consisted of renovations to the main user and staff areas on the second floor and the corridor link to Thompson Hall.
