The gutting of the Warburg Mansion has resulted in an entirely new modern Museum constructed within the existing classical shell. The building program provides for a total of 62,400 square feet. The facility includes low temperature and humidity storage with gaseous filtration systems designed to protect the Museum's valuable collection of decorative arts.

The HVAC system employs both direct fired absorption chillers and an electric chiller designed to operate during off-hours to maintain chilled water to those systems requiring 24 hour chilled water service.
