The Adirondack Museum collects and exhibits historical artifacts, decorative arts, and documents that record the history of the region. The new Visitor Center celebrates the rich heritage of the Adirondack region while gracefully performing the functions of greeting and serving visitors to New York's Adirondack State Park.
The 12,000-sq.ft. building recalls Adirondack forms such as barns, "great camps," and lodges, incorporating the materials and detailing for which the region is known.
