We have recently completed a three phase project which includes the following.
Library: A new 50,000 ft2 facility has been constructed to house this prominent institutions priceless collection of natural history books. The systems will employ state of the art climate control and gaseous filtration systems. A separate microfiche library with different temperature/humidity criteria was an element of the project.
Dinosaur Exhibit: The entire 60,000 ft2 4th floor dinosaur exhibit is in the process of being refurbished and modernized. This includes new air conditioning for previously unconditioned spaces.
Central Chiller Plant: As part of the above project, we have designed a steam absorption refrigeration plant of 600 tons to serve this and future air conditioning loads in the building.
The projects were constructed with both public and private funds.
