Renovation of the Vivian Beaumont Theater at Lincoln Center; the theater had suffered from control and noise problems almost from the beginning.
The theater called for replacement of existing HVAC infrastructure and creation of new lighting grid and architectural lighting. The theater was originally designed as a proscenium stage, but was used that way for only a short period. The new mechanical and electrical systems were designed to match the current thrust stage arrangement.
A second phase of the project included similar improvements to the Mitzi Newhouse Theater, improvements to the support spaces, and general HVAC renewal.
